Perfect Pie Approach

Your money gets divided into 3 equal parts:

Step 1 - Buy Real Estate

1/3 of your assets should be in real estate. If you own your home, the equity you have in it is included in the piece of the pie. If you don't own a home or the equity in your home doesn't equal 1/3 of your total assets then you need to have real estate added to your portfolio.
